Patient Access API

The Patient Access API is a RESTful API that conforms to Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources(FHIR) standards. It can be used by Ascension applications to enable Ascension patients to easily access their encounter, claim, and clinical information. Using the Patient Access API, queries can be sent to Payer Data Exchange (PDEX) and C4BB Servers to retrieve and update patient health information. In this API Specification, you will find a complete list of FHIR profiles, RESTful operations, and search parameters supported by PDEX and C4BB Servers. This list can be used to access data based on local use cases and other contextual requirements.
